What to Expect
Sessions can be offered in my clinic or in your home. Milage costs are charged.
Initial Consultation
An initial consultation typically involves case history taking (gaining background information), assessment and verbal and/or written advice. Activites for home practice may be provided and with consent, a report outlining assessment results and recommendations may be sent to relevant others (eg. school, GP, local speech and language therapy service).
Therapy Sessions
These can be weekly, fortnightly, monthly or 2-3 monthly for reviews and monitoring of progress. Appointments are usually offered at your convenience within days of the initial contact. A detailed programme of suggested activities can be provided for home or school use at your request.
Fees are charged according to ASLTIP guidelines (see the link).
Initial consultation- £55-£75 dependent on whether a detailed report and/or programme of activities is required.
Therapy sessions- £40
