What I Offer
I can offer Private Speech and Language Therapy in South Wales and areas adjacent to Monmouthshire (Hereford, South Powys etc.) for the following aspects of communication:
Adults
Expressive/receptive language difficulties e.g. following stroke or head injury
Male to Female voice/Transsexualism
Voice (ENT assessment required first)
Dysarthria (slurred or unco-ordinated speech) e.g. Parkinson's Disease, stroke, MS
Dyspraxia (difficulty pronouncing words in the absence of muscle weakness)
Dysfluency (stammering/stuttering)
Children
Difficulties understanding/expressing language
Language delay
Delayed/disordered articulation of speech sounds/pronunciation difficulties
Stammering/stuttering
Dyspraxia (difficulty with the co-ordination and planning of speech in the absence of muscle weakness)
